Premiership tips – round #5

18 Sep

Last week showed what a fine line there is between success and failure in this betting malarkey.
As West Brom did their upmost to land out 14/5 tip and some nice profit, but failed to add to another Blackpool corner success.
As it was a 0.63 loss was incurred, and maybe I was a bit adventurous after 2 weeks off.

Anyway, as it is, I’ve been looking at this weeks fixtures and struggled to find anything decent.
There are plenty of questions at present on team setups thanks to injuries and new managers. Plus Blackpool are away at Chelsea, so will be no corner joy there!

Stoke looked a decent price but are now odds on and so missed out on the value. Also considered HT draw at Everton as they and Newcastle could start with the same formation but with Cahill likely to be out this might change.

Have scooted around the Spurs-Wolves game and think I have found a way in plus something for Sunday.

Tottenham v Wolves

Wheeler dealing ‘Arry has had to switch around his team in the past couple of weeks and recently has adopted the 4-2-3-1 formation due to injuries. This has seen 2 draws after they have been pegged back each time.
The Spurs to score first price however is too small and so will take a chance on both teams scoring instead.
Wolves have scored in each game so far this season and when their not duffing teams up, it seems they have some better firepower this time around. They have also conceded in every game, so this looks good for us.
HT Spurs/ FT Draw could be a nice big winner but we’ll keep it simple.

Man United v Liverpool

The big game of the weekend (apart from Leicester v QPR of course!) looks to see if Woy can build on midweek Euro success.

A tough ask despite United drawing their last 3 games and the Rooney affair. However, we have to look at Liverpool’s performances against Arsenal and Man City to point to their problems.
Joe Cole is back and they could hold their own if they have a five man midfield for starters.
Man United though have looked good still despite the lapses and Bebetov is in great form.
Simply a United win for me.
