World Cup 2010 – Day #27 – Spain v Germany

7 Jul

Before the finals I would have selected Spain to win this crucial semi final for them, but the Germans have more than impressed in South Africa and for me may have the edge.
Muller is missing for them but their 4-3-3 with the wide men dropping back when defending, could well stifle the Spanish passing game.
They will let the Spanish come at them and then counter attack for a start and so fancy the first flag kick to go to Spain.
Also With Sergio Ramos bombing forward, we could see Podolski take advantage and get a vital goal.
However with this looking to go either way, going with a back on the Spainish winning more corners as the safetest option.

2 points Spain -1 corners handicap @ Evens (Ladbrokes/Boyles)
2 point Spain win first corner @ 9/10 (Bodog)
1 point Podolski to score anytime @ 10/3 (Paddy Power)
