World Cup 2010 – Day #14 – Group F

24 Jun

The games still come thick and fast and so does the profit. Strangely Group F is up next then back to Group E for the night games.

Paraguay v New Zealand

It looks pretty home and hosed that Paraguay and Italy will get out this Group but New Zealand have been spoiling the party with 2 points out of the first 2 games and could frustrate again.

Italy played a 4-4-2 against them and struggled to get anything out of the 3 man defense the All Whites set up.

If Paraguay play their normal formation, this could happen again, though they have experimented pre-tournament with a 3-4-3. I’ll take a chance on a half time draw.

1 point Half Time result – Draw @ 11/8 (BetFred)

Slovakia v Italy

Slovakia can qualify if they beat Italy and the odds of 13/2 are quite tempting, but I think the Italians will have enough if they can sort out their forward play.

I’ll take a chance on a Serie A player breaching the Italian back line at what looks a very generous price.

0.5 point Hamšík to score anytime @ 7/1 (Bet365)
